The amazing thing about cloud technologies is that they allow collaboration in real time on a variety of platforms. GitHub allows teams to collaborate on source code, Google allows teams to communicate through Google Docs and Google Hangouts, and AmigoCloud allows people to collect, manage, and share geospatial data.
The first step to working with other people is to invite them to your project. To do so, click on the "Users" button and go to the user dashboard.
The User Dashboard
From the user dashboard, you can invite users by clicking on the "Invite" button on the right hand side. Then you can type in the user's email and select the permission level at which the user can access the project.
Administrator - Can add/remove users, create/delete datasets, add/edit data
Editors - add/edit data
Readers - Read and analyze data
Adding a user
The user will then receive an email asking them to register with AmigoCloud (if necessary) or just join the project if an account already exists.
Until they have accepted the invite, you will see them in the dashboard so you know that the invite has not been accepted. Also, if they delete or wait a long time and the invite expires, you can send them a new invite
After they have accepted the invite you will see them appear in the user dashboard as a normal user. If you are an administrator, you can then delete them from the project if you need to.
A project with multiple users. One of them is the Owner, and the other is a Reader
